HypnoReiki combines the power of two ancient healing treatments. The idea is that being in a deep state of relaxation through hypnosis can potentially enhance the effectiveness of Reiki healing. This blended treatment involves being put under therapeutic hypnosis, encouraging you to deal with any underlying issues that were raised in the consultation.
What is Reiki?
It is an energetic healing technique. Warm and soothing qi (life energy) flows from the hands to assist energetic flow in the body, create relaxation and support well-being.
From Asia, Reiki is a safe, simple and natural technique that empowers life. It is an amazing complement to other medical modalities. The energy goes where it needs to go in the body and will support the intentions of the client.
What happens in a session?
Come to your appointment well-hydrated and in loose comfortable clothing with an open mind. To begin, we will discuss your intention for the treatment. The sounds of relaxing music and scent will fill the room as energy flows through your body. The feeling of the qi energy is different in each person. People have described it as a warmth, light feeling, colours or emotional relief.
The effectiveness of hypnosis varies from person to person, for example, people vary in how easily they can be hypnotized. Some individuals are more naturally receptive to hypnosis than others.
Reiki has been used with psychotherapy to improve symptoms related to emotional trauma, anxiety, depression, fatigue and much more. Medical Reiki, is highly recommended for pre and post-surgery, helping recovery. Most people find calm, peace and relax after the session. It is believed that the energy promotes healing and balance. Reiki is used to reduce stress and enhance overall well-being.
Who is not for:
People have pacemakers, diabetes, psychotic disorders like schizophrenia, seizures, dissociative disorders, or under the influence of drugs or alcohol. Please consult with the healthcare provider beforehand. The severity of trauma varies for each person, we will ensure the treatment can be paused at any time.
Here are some simple steps you can take post-energy treatments:
Take it easy: set aside some time even just 20 min. So you do not have an important call to expect, go to the gym or a big party or rush to the next appointment right away.
Drink plenty of water and eat healthy: flush out toxins and tired energies. Eat fresh and nourishing foods and notice how much water and nice food you have for the upcoming days. Avoid alcohol and tobacco.
