Come to join me for a walk and talk therapy
The walk session can only be booked after an initial consultation to hear more about your situation and how I can best support you. We agree on a mutual meeting location close to Stanley Park.
Just moving the body, getting the fresh air, embrace nature are helpful for stress and anxiety reduction, relieving body tension, and clearer thinking. Having a conversation in a more relaxed natural environment, from face to face to side by side, and practicing mindful walking lead to inner peace. It is also ideal for people who do not have a private space to have online sessions, such as living with a partner. For some, nature is a safe space to talk compared with a small room.

Walk Therapy’s focus is not on exercise. You need to be in the good physical condition and not suffer from any known disability or condition which would prevent or limit their participation in Walk Therapy. Clients will take full responsibility for their medical and physical well-being during each session. The outdoor environments contain a variety of hazards, including traffic, insects, and slippery walking surfaces. It is essential we talk about what kind of weather condition you are comfortable with and make an appointment. Grab a water bottle, hat, sunglasses, comfortable walking shoes, and I invite you for a walk. The session is 50 minutes.
There are limits of confidentiality about Walk and Talk Therapy, including that other people may hear parts of the conversation. I will do everything that I can to protect your privacy. We will discuss any concerns and how you would prefer to handle potential risks to confidentiality. You may change your mind at any point in the session.
